The Work of Gwendolyn J. Bean
My Portfolio
I have been writing sci-fi erotica for a while now. Mostly, I like to think, “What if?” and then turn it into a story about sex. I am currently working on a book of short stories... This is very much a work in progress.

Catch Me
"Suddenly, she was there. She strained her hips forward, almost touching him, almost grinding against his fingers, feeling the warmth spread through her body. Fuck. She pushed harder. Again. He pressed on her clit with just as much urgency, sending her over the edge. She exploded in an impossible orgasm. When the spasms subsided, she collapsed to the ground. He fell onto his knees beside her, his head resting over her back, his arms wrapped around her, holding her. They stayed in tableau like this, acutely aware of the audience, on their feet, cheering, in a standing ovation. And she was left wondering, how did she get here?"
Gravity
"One day the earth tipped, suddenly a jolt, and everything was different. After that day things were never quite right. I wasn’t prepared. None of us were, I guess. Who would be? It was a surprise to all of us. The earth tipped and, at first, gravity intensified and we were flattened to the ground. A slight shift the other way, gravity eased up, and we were floating. It took a few years for the nausea to subside..."
Audre Lorde
“For as we begin to recognize our deepest feelings, we begin to give up, of necessity, being satisfied with suffering and self-negation, and with the numbness which so often seems like their only alternative in our society. Our acts against oppression become integral with self, motivated and empowered from within.”
